Battle of the Brushes

Battle of the Brushes Is Coming! The WCI Arts Center is excited to present Battle of the Brushes. This fast-paint competition will take place 7-10pm, Saturday, January 27. Painting in acrylics, local artists will battle it out in two 30-minute preliminary rounds. The top 2 artists of each preliminary round, as determined by audience vote, will advance to the 30-minute final round. The winner of the final round will also be determined by the audience. In addition to the excitement of seeing paintings created in only 30 minutes, attendees will enjoy live music, a silent auction (of the paintings created throughout the evening as well as art donated for the event), raffle prizes, delicious hors d'ouerves and a cash bar. The evening will culminate with a live auction of the art work created in the final round. All funds raised through the event will go toward the Arts Center’s Warm Hearts campaign to raise funds for a new, and sorely needed, efficient and reliable HVAC system. Tickets are $25 for non-students/$15 for students through Monday, January 22; $35 for non-students/$20 for students after January 22.
