Dia de los Muertos 2022

The Casa Latina Cultural Center at WIU will host two "Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)" events, including a free screening of the Pixar Movie "Coco" tonight (Nov. 2) at 7 p.m. in the WIU Multicultural Center Multipurpose Room. The "Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)" celebration will begin 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at the Multicultural Center. Activities include a folklorico performance, performances by WIU Alumna Nicole Viveros, as well as other student performers and a skull painting competition, to name a few. The evening will also celebrate the Día De Los Muertos tradition of an altar to honor those who have passed.
