Hands Around the Courthouse

An event to raise awareness of, and prevent, child abuse in McDonough County, Illinois. Speakers from Victim Services, a local non-profit crisis counseling agency, will be featured starting at 11:00 AM. A dark blue ribbon is the national symbol of child abuse prevention. Attendees will be asked to hold a long blue ribbon that encircles the courthouse. T-shirts from The Clothesline Project will be on display during the event. Stop by the Victim Services informational booth to learn about our free counseling and advocacy services and programs for survivors of any age.
