Music Major Discovery Day

The WIU College of Fine Arts & Communications School of Music will host Music Major Discovery Day Friday, Oct. 28 to give high school students the experience of a day in the life of a college music student at Western. 
Activities include: taking part in sample music classes, learning about music degree program options, performing in instrument/voice techniques sessions, observing rehearsals, getting info on scholarships and auditions and participating in a campus tour. Educators who attend with their students will have the opportunity to attend a free professional development session offered by Western Michigan University Associate Professor of Music Education and Midwest Clinic board member Mary Land.
