National Faith & Blue Weekend

The Macomb Police Department announces events for the National Faith & Blue weekend, October 7-10, 2022.  Faith & Blue Weekend is a national event with activities in communities across the country that bring together law enforcement and residents to build connections, create mutual understanding, and enhance justice and reconciliation. The goal is to create safer and stronger communities by connecting law enforcement officers and the residents they protect and serve.
This year marks the first year that the Macomb Police Department will participate in the weeklong event. We are excited to partner with several faith-based organizations within our community to strengthen our relationships.
The following events are planned for the Macomb PD Faith & Blue Weekend: 
Wednesday, October 5
                7:30am-9:00am
                Late Start Breakfast at Youth for Christ with Jr/Sr High school students
Friday, October 7
                7:30am-8:00am
                Greet students at drop-off
                11:00am-12:30pm
                Pizza lunch at Youth for Christ with Jr/Sr High school students
Saturday, October 8
                3:00pm-4:00pm                
                Drop off Personal Care items at University Baptist Church
Sunday, October 9
                12:00pm-12:30pm
                Collect Emergency Cupboard items at First Christian Church
