University Assembly

Western Illinois University is excited to announce the start of the new academic year with the annual University Assembly. The event will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall. For those unable to attend in person, the assembly will be live-streamed on WIU's YouTube channel.

Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited. WIU Interim President Kristi Mindrup will outline the strategic plans and priorities for the 2024-25 academic year and beyond. Additionally, Interim Provost and Academic Vice President Mark Mossman will share his insights and updates.
